This past year has been heavily influenced by the passing of my friend and mentor Ranga Tuhi, Ranga has been a part of my journey into mural and community work starting with my first mural as part of the Porirua Railway station mural project.
I was lucky enough to be with him on his last project with a group of Rangitahi from Wainuiomata. It was a labour of love for all involved.
This year marks an important evolution in my practice as I will be returning to Wainuiomata with my partner Ian Taylor to continue his kaupapa.
